The In-Between

Through storytelling, imagery, creative activities, and conversation, we’ll explore the questions, experiences, and possibilities that shape our lives. Share & here different perspectives, follow your curiosity, and make room for uncertainty, discovery, and the many ways of experiencing life.

What We’ll Explore Together

  • Identity and becoming: How we understand ourselves, how we change over time, and who we might be evolving into.
  • Meaning and purpose: What matters to us, what gives our lives meaning, and the questions that shape how we live.
  • Connection and belonging: How we relate to others, where we find belonging, and what it means to feel connected.
  • Life transitions and uncertainty: The changes, turning points, and in-between moments that invite us to reconsider what comes next.
  • Spirituality and mystery: Our relationships with wonder, intuition, the unknown, and the things that are difficult to put into words.
  • New perspectives and possibilities: How creative exploration and the experiences of others can open up unexpected ways of seeing ourselves and the world.

Weight Loss/Emotional Eating

A supportive group for folx who want to change patterns of emotional eating, overeating, and starting over with weight loss. Through creative reflection, group discussion, and shared experiences, explore your relationship with food, develop greater awareness and choice, and work toward more sustainable change without relying on another diet or rigid set of rules. Two Sections: Mondays, 11AM – 12PM and Tuesdays 8:30AM – 9:30AM

Through guided reflection, creative exploration, and group conversation, we’ll look at the patterns, emotions, and expectations that shape our relationships with food. Make space to notice what’s happening beneath familiar cycles of emotional eating, overeating, restriction, or starting over and explore new ways of responding to yourself with greater awareness, curiosity, and compassion.

Rather than focusing on another set of rules to follow, this group invites you to slow down, listen to yourself, and discover what supports meaningful, sustainable change. This group is for folx working toward weight loss, hoping to feel less caught up in patterns with food that don’t serve you, or wanting a more peaceful relationship with their body.

What We’ll Explore Together

  • Patterns and triggers: Notice the situations, emotions, habits, and expectations that influence how you eat, including patterns that can feel automatic or difficult to change.
  • Emotions and unmet needs: Explore what food may offer you in different moments, and discover other ways to respond to you feelings and needs.
  • Listening to the body: Reconnect with bodily cues and experiences, making room to notice what you need rather than automatically overriding or dismissing yourself.
  • Moving beyond rigid rules: Examine the expectations, all-or-nothing thinking, and cycles of restriction and starting over that can make change feel so difficult.
  • Building a different relationship with food: Explore ways to bring more flexibility, steadiness, and choice into eating without making food another source of pressure or self-judgment.
  • Weight goals and meaningful change: Consider how to pursue health and weight-related goals in ways that support your well-being rather than becoming another measure of your worth.
  • Self-discovery and new possibilities: Use reflection, creativity, and the perspectives of others to discover what you want your relationship with food and your body to look and feel like.

Who This Group Is For

You might be drawn to this group if you’re:

  • Caught in familiar cycles of emotional eating, overeating, or repeatedly starting over with weight loss.
  • Tired of knowing what you think you should do but struggling to make changes that last.
  • Finding that food, eating, or weight concerns take up more mental or emotional space than you’d like.
  • Interested in pursuing weight loss while moving away from rigid rules, deprivation, or an all-or-nothing approach.
  • Wanting to better understand your emotions, bodily experiences, and the needs that influence your relationship with food.
  • Looking for a supportive space to reflect, share experiences, and learn alongside others.

You don’t need to have the answers or arrive with a perfect plan. Bring your experiences, your questions, and your willingness to explore. This is a space to understand familiar patterns, discover new possibilities, and develop a more sustainable relationship with food and yourself, one that makes room for the rest of your life too.
