Weight Loss Surgery
We offer evaluations for bariatric surgery in San Diego and through California. We also provide, pre and post surgery maintenance. We know that choosing to have weight loss surgery is a big decision. We are here to support you every step of the way. The psychological support you can expect from us includes:
Preoperative psychological evaluation
Pre-surgery counseling to help set you up for success
Post-surgery counseling to provide support, accountability, and keep you on the right track.
Regular check-ins post-operatively
Referrals to outside support groups, when necessary

Weight Loss Program Fees and Coverage By Insurance
We offer a FREE initial consultation at which time we can discuss fees and sliding scale options. This first session is completely free, so please feel free to take advantage.
The fees you will be charged vary based on the services or package options you select following our initial consultation and discussion as well as whether you choose to work with Dr. Seti or one of her associates. We offer a sliding scale fee structure based on income so individual session fees range from $100 to $225.
If you have a PPO insurance plan, we are able to submit superbills to your insurance provider to enable processing your reimbursement if you qualify.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
Our Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia is endorsed by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the National Institute of Health as the treatment of choice for insomnia. CBT-I is a non-medication, evidence-based treatment that helps people change their sleep habits and thoughts about sleep in order to improve their sleep.
During CBT-I, you will learn about:
- How to track your sleep
- Thought restructuring: How to identify and change thoughts and behaviors that are interfering with sleep
- How to establish healthy sleep habits
- Relaxation techniques
- Sleep hygiene and understanding of what factors can affect your sleep
- Stimulus control therapy (which helps you break the association between your bed and being awake)
- Sleep restriction therapy which ensures you are spending most of your time in bed actually sleeping)
The outcome of CBT-I for most of our clients has been overwhelmingly positive.
